About you

a strong track record of publishing their research in high impact journals
a PhD (or is near completion of a PhD) in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related area
demonstrated proficiency in laboratory techniques, including: mammalian cell culture (preferably stem and immune cells), isolation and characterisation of immune cells from blood, T cell activation and suppression, monocyte differentiation, cytokine quantification, quantitative RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, fluorescence and confocal imaging, flow cytometry
proficiency in or a willingness to learn immunohistochemistry, transcriptomic and proteomic analyses, including single-cell techniques
demonstrated ability to drive and conduct research/scholarly activities efficiently and independently
the ability and a willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to contribute to long-term research goals
experience in, or willingness to train research students
excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as superior organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
