The Collaborative Research Centre 1381 “Dynamic organization of cellular protein machineries: From biogenesis and modular assembly to function” is looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist (f/m/d) in Bioinformatics / Computational Proteomics

The position is embedded in the Biochemistry and Functional Proteomics group at the Faculty of Biology (www.proteasedegradomics.org), which studies biological signalling and protein function on a proteome-wide scale using mass spectrometry. Within the CRC 1381 (www.sfb1381.uni-freiburg.de) we provide a mass spectrometry platform for analysis of dynamic protein machineries.


Your profile:

  • PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Informatics, Biochemistry, Biology, or related subject area

  • Proven advanced programming skills and willingness to learn further

  • Knowledge of python, R or similar scripting languages are advantageous

  • Experience in or knowledge of proteomics workflows is highly beneficial

  • High proficiency in English (written and oral)

  • Motivation, self-organization and team player skills
